Hi. This next week is going to be REALLY hectic, I can sense it! Especially this weekend. Tomorrow morning I'm going to get up at 7, because I want to do some work before doing lots of other fun activities. I'm tired now... Also, Dragon's been kinda jumpy lately. He gets scared at everything we do, then jumps off our hands backwards and falls on the floor, just because wed our mouths to say something. He wasn't like this. We should call someone, I guess. :\ posted by Melike at 01:20

Yesterday I was sick, but at least my hair looked nice:
Unfortunately, I'm even sicker today, but at least, somehow, I'm very happy to be doing homework. Doing work for chemical engineering class is so new to me. In the homework I did last night, I was using physics (potential energy, kinetic energy, etc.) and chemistry (heat capacitance, etc.) at the same time. I'm not accustomed to mixing the two! Today we started learning how to do numerical estimations on Matlab. It's like every topic of science blended together. It's great! posted by Melike at 17:26

Today I wore my new white pants for the first time, and managed to not get a single stain on them! They're so white it's scary.... they literally glow. posted by Melike at 16:22
This morning I tried to make sunny-side-up eggs, but I was pissed because the yolks were accidentally pierced when I cracked the eggs so they were ugly and leaking all over the place. Then I had to flip the whole thing over because the eggwhites on the top weren't getting cooked. The result did not look like sunny-side-up eggs at all, so I was disappointed, but at least it tasted okay. posted by Melike at 11:09

yay
Last night I met Zeynep for the first time! I had been a fan of her site since some crazy time like 9th grade, and it turns out that she's a freshman at BU.. so we're really close! The Harvard Film Archive was screening some German movies directed by Turkish people, and we went to see one of the movies. It was partly in German and partly in Turkish, but it was all subtitled in English. It was an interesting movie, and sort of sad. :( Especially the ending. :( Well, I had a really good time though.... yay I made a friend. Today I went to a horn recital. The entire second half of the recital was Brahms so I was fighting the urge to sleep. I'm sorry, I know that piece had some pretty interesting stuff in there, but for some reason Brahms can't really hold my attention. What can I say.. I'm a Renaissance/Baroque period person. Geez, even singing Brahms in choir was boring. Okay bye. posted by Melike at 15:56
