I've isolated myself from close friends in the past day or two. I usually feel bad about doing that, but then realize how much I prefer being by myself. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing. Good because I like myself, bad because it makes me more isolated than ever. I guess it's not so bad if I'm happy about it, but it's bad for the people who don't get to hang out with me. :D HAHAHA

t-shirt idea
I've been seeing way too many people walking around with their mouths hanging Surely they're not aware of how stupid they look. I want a shirt that says "close your mouth" on it. When I see people who have their mouths I'll throw a dirty glance at them implying, "Yeah, this shirt applies to you." Ahahah. "I wear these shirt because of people like you!"

I saw Spiderman 2 yesterday. The action parts were exciting, but the rest of the movie was really bad. Bad script, impossible science, inconsistencies, etc. Whoever wrote the script had a sense of humor, though! There was something to snicker at in every scene. It was my kind of humor, too. Of course, watching the movie together with a room full of college students, MIT students no less, made it even more fun. We laughed at the impossible scientific stuff, and there was one scene in which the professor, who was in the middle of lecture in a huge lecture hall, called on Peter. Peter enthusiastically answered, "1.3 electron volts!" while pointing his pencil in the air and looking pretty heroic. Then the professor smiled at him; he was so proud! That scene was the one people laughed at the most (I think the runner up was when the Nobel prize winner scientist showed everyone his energy source that never dies......right.). Hmm, first of all, I don't know if that many students would enroll in a class about fusion (let's be realistic here). There were a lot of students. And, in that big a class, there's no way the professor's gonna know his students on a personal level. Last but not least, people usually don't solve problems in lecture; those are done in recitation. In lecture, there are rarely numbers involved; everything is explained in variables in an abstract way.
Oh and there's another part where the scientist is showing off his invention in the presence of Peter (the main character, of course), the press, some other random people, and his wife. For some reason, he's the only one who puts on safety goggles. Everybody else stares into the intense light, and it's a wonder how they get to keep their eyesight after even a few seconds of that.
The action scenes were awesome though! I took the visual effects for granted, but now that I think about it, they were good. One character had four metal arms coming out of his back, and I didn't realize how realistic they looked until now, since they didn't bother me during the movie.
