Yesterday, my online friend said that he made somebody send him a recording of herself saying "Would you like some peanuts?" He then used it in a short techno-like clip. His other friend also made a different one with the same recording.
I'm always a fan of electronic music with voiceovers! I wanted to try my hand at it too. It's my first time discovering Audacity, since I had to find a way to splice the recording and fit it into the other parts. It's also my first try at techno stuff.
Needless to say, the recording of "Would you like some peanuts?" is not my voice, but the background vocals are. I had a lot of fun playing with some of the special effects. It's a short and simple piece, because much of techno is the same parts repeated over and over again for five minutes, and I didn't have the patience to do that.
Hopefully my friend will make a website about this Peanut Techno business. I'll keep you posted.
